With Samsung releasing one of the best flagship phones to date, the Galaxy S22 series, the battle between android users and IOS users have already begun. As the new lines of the S22 series roll out in the market and onto the hands of its loyal users, the never-ending debate of blue bubbles vs green bubbles reignites yet again. Is S22 really “the phone that makes your everyday epic”? Or is it just another marketing gimmick? Do you think it has what it takes to be the “IT” phone of 2022? Or is the iPhone 13 going to take the trophy home? Let’s get down to the juicy details and find out.

Price Of S22 vs iPhone 13

For most consumers, price plays a huge role when considering their mobile phone purchases. If you are also one of the many who think iPhones fall into the pricier end in contrast to Galaxy S22, you are wrong! This time,we cannot quite drag the Apple to Regina George’s “You can’t sit with us” meme ditch. This year both iPhone 13 and Galaxy S22 start at $799.99 for the base storage of the 128GB model.

While buyers of both phones pay the same price for the phone, S22 buyers have an additional benefit. With every pre-order of S22 series phones, you can get Samsung galaxy buds for free.

Specifications To Look Out For

Every year two tech giants, Samsung and Apple, release their best phones with a promise of tempting specifications in the market. Sometimes these promises seem “too good to be true” on the papers. However, that might not be the case for 2022. Both Samsung Galaxy S22 series and iPhone 13 series have their own set of exciting features. Have a look!

Performance That Delivers

Long gone are the days when phones were regarded as mere accessories. The average consumer today measures the value of their mobile phones by the performance it promises to deliver. Every iPhone 13 line is power-packed with Apple’s A15 Bionic chip this time. With this new and powerful chip, Apple promises to deliver the fastest performance yet from an iPhone. Similarly, the benchmark tests reveal that the performance of the iPhone 13 pro has improved by 22% over that of its predecessor.

Meanwhile, all the Galaxy S22 model gathers their power from Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, showing no significant improvement over its last year’s models.

Cameras For The Pros

Both Samsung and Apple have a good reputation for having the best cameras in smartphones. While Samsung takes over the photography department, Apple aces the videography department. This year’s Galaxy S22s and iPhone 13s have significantly upgraded the camera departments. Apple upgraded their last year’s phone camera sensor to a larger primary sensor, this time allowing more light in than it used to.

Meanwhile, Samsung has improved the zooming capabilities in its phones. Galaxy S22 lines feature 3x optical zoom, which means a clearer picture of your crush’s photo, which you took from afar that you should totally delete. Right now!

Display That We Can’t Take Our Eyes Off Of

This year’s iPhone 13 pro lines enjoy the advantage of a pro-motion display that dynamically adjusts the refresh rates. That means depending upon the on-screen activity, the iPhone 13 pro and iPhone 13 pro max can scale their refresh rates between 10Hz and 120 Hz. In contrast, Galaxy S22 has upgraded the adaptive refresh rate feature, which means the phone can now scale down to 48Hz. Both pro-motion and adaptive refresh rate features allow mobile phones to preserve battery life. Who doesn’t want that extra juice for their “Netflix and Chill” time, right?

Similarly, Vision Booster technology is featured in both phones, which automatically adjusts the brightness screen based on ambient lighting. While S22 lines have a blinding brightness of over 1300 nits, Apple has limited the brightness to 800. Quite a difference, we see there!

In A Nutshell

Apple and Samsung, the two rival tech giants, have established their roots firm in the market. While Apple brings out the best IOS-featured phones in the market, Samsung still sits high on its throne among all android phone brands. Although Apple has claimed its victory over a few select aspects of the phones, Samsung has won this time around. (Well, at least on the paper). More in-depth reviews on each feature will be up on our website soon. So, stay tuned!
